     There is a conversation within faith and mythology beyond their immediate realms of consequence. I will be exploring the idea that integral parts of culture are built upon totems of story and ritual. In my next series I will be investigating these ideas by gathering artifacts of cultural significance into assemblages of anthropomorphic pathos. 
     Myths are woven from the physical world around themselves, imbued with the personification of a cultures morality. By breathing life into their demons, heros, and gods societies can project a purpose into morality and from morality onto themselves. Though these stories may bind a culture in a system of beliefs they still rely on a historical faith derived from their environment and legend. It is the process of personification to deification that defines how a culture understands themselves in their surroundings. Tribal gods become city gods, becoming god kings, to jealous gods and from jealous gods to the monotheistic pillars of theology we have today. Fathers of nations know no wrong and some have a messiah like quality when dealing with cherry trees, Fabio has slept with millions of women hellbent on actualizing latent desires, and the great westward expansion was greased with the blood of a peoples genocide. It is the facts and legends of these scenarios that shape our myths and divine the future.
